My story how i met samba
Show how the traditional methods didn't work and you were super frustrated.
I was 16, when I went to a concert in our local clubhouse.
A ban from brasil was performing that evening.
This concert open my mind and from this moment on Samba belongs to my system.
I played yet 4 years drums, played in serveral bands and train my skills every day exept Sundays
The concert I spoke above was taking me like a big wave.
I couldn't stopp trying to play thios brasil-rhythms over and over. I read books, listen radio and try to find more about this music.
After my study in classical music at the Conservatory in Bern, where I graduated in December 1990, I went for a 4 month trip to brasil. To learn and feel it with the bottom of my heart.
This music is what I am. This is me.
