I felt exactly the same way for many years until I met Samba, which changed my life.

My story how i met Samba

With notes and tapes i didn't get the result and was so frustrated. The possibility of video changes all.

I was 18 years old an visiting a concert with a band from brasil. From the first beat I get in love with this rhythms. So I go in my room and tried to get these rhythms. I tried everything.

After my 4 month visit to brasil, I get what I need. It's so simple. Just play full out.

The result of 42 years playing and teaching samba is now on this course. I love to work with people. I love to see the results of our workshop. Keep going.

We start with slower music, like Sambareggae to get easy in the beat.

Movement and Choreography

Playing Samba is a full body workout. We dance and play together.

We learn how easy we can use simple steps to move and ply together.

Listen to the music

We earn how to listen to the other instruments. Where are the main beat instruments. How can I adjust my playing with the others.

Learnin g playing full sambasongs

As we learn some patterns, now is the time to pick all the patterns together. There are steps for reminding our song. It's a groupthing. Everybody is important.

repetition is the mother of skills

Repetition is the mother of skills. Playing music is a full body thing. We move, we play, we dance, we listen, we sing and we just be happy.

There are some skills who need more repetitions. Playing higher speed sambas need a good technique. It's simple. Just exercice 10 Minutes every day or 20 every second day. Then by the way if you feel good, you can do more. My exercices help you to reach your goals for sure.
